Course VIII - Teaching 11: Physical Health

During his lifetime, man suffers of different physical ills, worsened by mind complexes of any kind, with repercussion on his psyche and nerves. To keep our physical health is indispensable requirement to start the spiritual path, and we are healthy not only through remedies, prevention and hygiene but also through several human values in tune with the spirit.

Course VIII - Teaching 12: A Way of Praying

The habit of prayer is extremely difficult when usually our soul is troubled and our mind upset. So, sometimes we feel that this exercise is in conflict with our attitudes and that we never will practice it properly, and this produces great disappointment and despondency.

Course VIII - Teaching 13: Affirmative Negation

He who wishes to take the spiritual life will not achieve it if his mind does not change attitudes before knowledge of life and before his relation with the rest of individuals and their beliefs.

Course VIII - Teaching 14: Psychical Attitude

Many noble beings are working in the world for the sake of Humanity. They are soldiers of God entering the field of battle; they neither rest nor stop fighting until the final victory.

Course VIII - Teaching 15: Self-centeredness of the Soul

The soul must know itself and its own intimate and real personality. As soon as the soul contacts its intimate potential, all external things become unimportant, and only basic issues become valuable.

Course VIII - Teaching 16: Vocational Concept

All human beings are destined to a spiritual vocation manifested at certain moment, since the purpose of all men is God, in a positive or negative sense. Many believe that they have been called to a spiritual vocation, but just few are called in a direct and accurate way.

Course X - Teaching 1: Renunciation as action

General synthesis: A detached action. A detached action in front of social, economic and religious troubles. A detached action in front of the world: knowledge of history. Ired’s adaptation (the reversibility method applied) to developing action.

Course X - Teaching 2: Exercises to Achieve a Detached Action

Vow of Silence intensified as a usual inactive action. To procrastinate deals. I decide nothing under enthusiasm or inspiration. To read newspapers three-four days later. To solve both personal unpleasant or pleasant troubles.

Course X - Teaching 3: Renunciation as Asceticism

Ascetic paths lead a persevering soul toward a positive result. Asceticism is an acquired power that decreases when the exercise is discontinuous. Asceticism does not set free the practitioner from contingencies and death.

Course X - Teaching 4: Cycles of Passive asceticism in Cafh

Stability radius: settlement, adaptation, patience, routine and wait. Power of the Great Current: Permanence, comprehensive passivity, non-operation. Substantial Union: Operative exchange. Egocentric impersonality. Capacity to use all (physical, psychical and mental) means to achieve the result of a purpose.
