The Good Way

Course VIII - Teaching 1: Beyond the Man

Man is not an automaton merely handled by chemical actions and reactions of his physiological state. Behind visible and invisible forms of his cells, molecules and tissues, there are heat, magnetism, emotions, ideas and, above all, a spiritual and true being.

Course VIII - Teaching 2: Inner Life

It is indispensable for man to recognize himself deeply and intimately in order to realize the Spirit’s life in his own soul. A Bishop called Silesius says, “Your soul shall go astray although Christ is born one thousand times in Bethlehem but not in you.

Course VIII - Teaching 3: Right Discernment

As one says we are bound to detach from the world in order to live or to start the spiritual life apparently we are establishing a barrier between a way of living and other, but in fact it is not so: we are building new cages instead of breaking barriers.

Course VIII - Teaching 4: Mental Task

It is good for man to give rise to luminous thoughts and illuminate his way. A thought initially emitted for selfish purposes shall yield fruits of the Dead Sea, with pretty appearance but ashy taste, however man works and tries to beautify and dignify externally his thought.

Course VIII - Teaching 5: The Future Man

Man knows himself only by parts. One can state this is a time of specialties. So, we have lost the sight of the whole, of the integral man. Body and mind of man are not a totality.

Course VIII - Teaching 6: Liberation

Men are enraptured when a new prophet appears and teaches about liberation and new horizons of life. How sweet are these words in their ears! This means to break with ancient rites, old traditions and time-honored customs; in short, to break chains of bondage and to go out of the cage that keeps them in prison!

Course VIII - Teaching 7: Free Will

Actions and human activities are always the result of feeling and of one or of one or several inner thoughts, and of one o several past actions that at a time contain a seed of subsequent actions.

Course VIII - Teaching 8: Spiritual Life

Today the expression “Spiritual Life” is quite often used by many souls interested in transcendental maters. But this expression can be interpreted differently and give way to various surmises. “I am in quest of the Spiritual Life”, “I follow the Spiritual Life” are common sentences suggesting other question: “In fact, what is Spiritual Life?

Course VIII - Teaching 9: Act of Presence

As they begin the spiritual path, many people have great desires and yearnings. They would wish to change the world, go out and preach by the streets and do something helpful to Humanity.

Course VIII - Teaching 10: To Believe and Beliefs

One cannot start the Good Way with no faith or belief. To believe means not to stick to certain beliefs. All religions possess beliefs, and one religion sustains what other religion rejects.
